Mac & Cheeese Original Projects
Original game ideas and prototypes that competed with the demands of running XOX Studio.

The context
Where I entered the project
Mac & Cheeese gave me space to explore original concepts with investor and production backing. I owned the game ideas, system structure, prototypes, and much of the visual direction. In practice, XOX remained the priority, so these projects did not receive the uninterrupted attention a new live game needs.
01 / Pressure
What made it difficult
The main constraint was time, not a missing technical solution. Building a new audience requires consistent iteration, but my attention was split with live responsibilities at XOX.
02 / Decisions
What I actually did
I used the studio as a place to prototype loops, environments, vehicles, weapons, and visual directions without pretending every experiment was ready for full production.
03 / Afterward
What happened next
The projects produced several playable ideas and a clearer sense of the games I want to make, but they did not survive as sustained live titles.
The work behind the story
Areas I owned or contributed to
- Creating game designs and core loop prototypes
- Architecting systems for scalable multiplayer concepts
- Directing visual aesthetic and UI style
- Iterating prototypes based on investor and partner feedback
